For some people, their career path is straight forward, one stepping stone leading them to the next. And for the rest of us… we take the scenic route.

My path to where I am today has been a winding one, and I have enjoyed each and every waypoint. After many years working in arts organizations, I took a pivot to yoga teacher training and became a licensed massage therapist. Through hobbies and side-hustles, I eventually found my way to marketing, photography, and design. I turned that into a career, where I’ve held internal positions, worked for an agency serving a diverse clientele, and eventually as a self-employed freelancer; I’ve always thrived where my worlds intersected to share my creativity and skills. I’ve collected a University degree and a couple of certificates along the way, but really what ties my path together is that I choose to follow my curiosity. Each piece of my experience informs the others, and I feel all the richer with each layer I acquire.

Rising Tide Studio is my alter-ego, the business side of the creative skills I bring to the world around me. The symbolism of the tides is powerful, reminding us of our connection to the natural world and the unseen forces that inspire and guide us everyday. I believe in abundance, that there is enough success in the world for everyone, and that we only succeed when we all do. My work is collaborative with every client, every business, and every individual. We rise our ships together.
